Bio

It was one of those things that was meant to be.
It was one of those passions that was never meant to let go.

Entransition, a "late bloomer," knew instantly after picking up the guitar that she was created for just that. Her path had already paved its way as she had written much poetry and creative writing as an English major. Entransition discovered her musical voice take shape when a few guitar chords met the lyricism hidden in her poetry. Born and raised in Hawaii, Entransition made a bold move to Los Angeles to follow her dreams of writing and performing music true to her heart.

Entransition attributes the Indigo Girls as her biggest influence. Her inspiration comes from the emotions that were felt when she heard their music. In turn, Entransition gives us gentle guitar playing, a voice that is refreshing, yet soothingly familiar, and a sound that represents the strength and frailty of a true artist within.

Entransition is real, authentic, and vulnerable. The poignancy in her voice and lyrics indeed cause us to feel. Entransition's sound is what happens in the quiet moments of self-examination. It's finding out that true expression comes from a place that is neither here nor there – that no one is ever in one place physically, mentally, or emotionally. And if we're lucky, we may come to the realization that beauty is in the process – when we finally figure out that we, ourselves, are always in transition.
