"Entreat to play Free Times Music Crawl"

Anyone remotely familiar with the Columbia music scene will recognize Entreat, but when they take the stage at the Headliners this Saturday, they will have a new face behind the mic ‹ new singer and Columbia music veteran in her own right, Patti Davis. The addition of Davis marks a slightly different sound for the band, "a Queens of the Stone Age vibe with keyboards," as guitarist Marty Fort puts it. Fans new and old can pick up a hot-off-the-presses EP at the show. Its quality and quick release are a good indication that Entreat is experiencing a creative explosion. T. Bio

One of the most unique bands to come out of Columbia, SC ENTREAT is influenced by, Queens of the Stone Age, Depeche Mode and has been called “Blondie with heavy guitars”. The band is fronted by the legendary Patti Davis (formerly 6/10 Split) who Mike Miller of the The State Newspaper called “the best female singer in SC”. Following the inspirations of these iconic bands, ENTREAT strives to create more than just the ordinary song with their original melodic hard rock. ENTREAT was founded by Art Bar talent buyer Marty Fort (guitars and programming) and Robert Savage (drums and electronics). On the path for ENTREAT ’s unique sound, their search led them to the powerful voice of Patti Davis. Keyboardist Ashleigh Morse brings an ethereal electronic quality to the sound. J. Paul Clark fills the final spot as bassist for the group. With the playing figures in place,
ENTREAT has made their first move by recording the initial demo sessions at The Jam Room studios with Jay Matheson. With the combined talents of the group’s diverse members, the release promises to appeal to an ecelctic group of music fans.
