Bio

Formed around 1999, Enveneer has grown from a few guys just wanting to make noise into a full fledged band that has focused its energies into making original, emotional music and putting on the best performance possible. Two of the original members, Tyler Hipps, vocals and guitar, and Stephen Nash, bass, held the band together in hopes that they could find the right musicians to take the band and its music, to the next level. Within the last two years, the additions of Jesse Johnson, guitar, and Michael Watford, drums, have made this hope a reality. Along the way primary songwriter Tyler Hipps found his niche’ and started writing the songs that formed the bands unique blend of rock, alternative, pop, experimental, and blues among many others. These songs and the band continue to grow and evolve. This along with the bands noncompetitive and friendly attitude set Enveneer apart from many of their peers. Enveneer wants their music to speak for itself and go out of their way not to alienate anyone, and to make sure that their fans feel appreciated. With this in mind, the band tries to include the audience as much as possible. Realizing that today’s audience wants to be entertained visually as well as musically, the band has to put themselves in the shoes of its audience, and the show that they put on reflects that. Every show is different because they know that every venue and crowd is equally diverse. Enveneer has a broad range of fans in direct relation to their broad range of music. Songs range from heavy to soft, angry to very laid back, dark to colorful, and all points in between. Hipps has taken his influences, emotions, and experiences then put them to song, and when you put the unique chemistry of the band behind it, you get Enveneer. Backed by Nash’s nimble yet pounding bass lines, Johnson’s aggressive guitar work, and Watford’s groove oriented drum style Hipps’ vocals dance over the music, sometimes howling, sometimes whisper quit. Because of this the songs are able to breathe and grow very naturally. The bands friendly nature, along with the diverse quality of their music, have endeared them to fans and the owners of venues alike. Whenever they play, no matter how large or small, you get the same Enveneer. No corners are cut and no emotion is spared. The band is very easy to work with, and because of this the band has become personal friends with many of the sound crew and venue owners they have worked with. There are no egos in this band, and because of this the band will do whatever takes to help anyone involved to make sure everyone is satisfied with the resulting product. Enveneer sincerely wants to make the best music possible, and leave everyone involved more than satisfied. Enveneer and its music continue to evolve and we hope that you will come long for the ride!
