Bio

Eoghan Neff has been described by the international press as “a true Irish devil violinist” (Sächsische Zeitung) who “traces shadows where few fiddlers deign venture” (Irish Times). He has recorded and toured with Riverdance, The London Metropolitan Orchestra, Torrek, NeffBros, Anxo Lorenzo, etc. Also, he has collaborated on film scores for acclaimed and Oscar-winning directors such as Olivier Dahan and Kevin Macdonald. His new solo live-looping project builds a symphony of idiosyncratic sounds and virtuosic lines solely from the acoustic fiddle; deconstructing and reconstructing traditional melodies by combining elements of free improvisation, progressive ergonomics, and the avant-garde.
