"Club 279 Press Release for Headlining Toronto Rock Band: Eye of Morning - June 24, 2005"

Toronto, ON- Forget meaningless comparisons to bands of yesterday, Toronto’s rising sons, Eye of Morning, define themselves through teeth clenching intensity, hardcore talent and a stage show that immediately captured the undivided attention of 400+ fans who packed the house at one of TO’s premiere hotspot’s, Club 279 for their CD/DVD Release party on Friday night.

e o*m, as their rapidly expanding fan base refer to them as, took the stage after eleven to a pulsing crowd thanks to openers Hello Libido & Kid Metropolis who pumped the house with some notable sets.

Animated front man Marcos Ravera commanded and demanded attention. A DNA test might be in order and Marcos may be calling Robert Plant, “Daddy”… These guys are all in, no studio tricks or hired guns here. The 5 member band is a hardworking task force of talented local boys putting their hearts and balls on the line as if every song of every show was JUNO night! Maybe they know something the rest of Canada is about to find out?

From the first blasts of intimidating locomotive thunder and presence of rhythm guitarist, Joe Docimo, to the versatility of lead guitarist, Brad De Coste this band has depth and legs. Together Bassist Luca and drummer J.R. form a nuclear power plant whose energy fuels the surging vibe making for an intense live show experience that packs the house and isn’t downloadable.

Their self-titled CD release, Eye of Morning, became a reality after winning 6 of 6 Supernova Entertainment “Battle of the Bands” features in Toronto resulting in free recording time at premiere studios in the area. The six song disc contains already known fan favorites such as the hook filled, chart worthy, Hit The Ground, as well as Ordinary, whose music video accompanies the CD/DVD package which also includes show footage and band interviews.

Fans and their future following will be able to see Eye of Morning in all their multi-media glory as they promote their CD/DVD in Ontario and across Canada during the summer and fall.

Band front-man Marcos Ravera already had the answer waiting when asked what was next, “Anything and everything to get our band touring, we are ready to support this album and are driven by the success we’ve had in TO. As an Indie band we know the importance of momentum, momentum, momentum.” True enough, and as an independent band these boys have the business savvy and show production of many major touring acts; a formula for success?
Two things are for sure:
1) These guys are talented, rock hard live and their fans love’em!
2) The song “Hit the Ground” will chart for this band…. You heard it here first!!
