Bio
EonBomb’s music has been described as the pursuit of modern vintage. We have an enormous range of influences from the past and present that come across in our music. We listen to tons of genres represented by groups like Led Zeppelin, Aretha Franklin, Beethoven, Tito Puente, The Roots and many MANY more. Simply put, we LOVE music. We listen to it all the time and we love making it. Its true that love for music is a common thread shared by all music makers. We feel our commitment to detail in the jam space (making sure our music is as tight as it possibly can be- NEVER making excuses) and the huge range of influences shared between the four of us sets us apart from other groups. As for our story- Ben, Matt and Charlie all went to the same high school together in Nova Scotia. That is where Ben and Matt started EonBomb in 2005. At this time, Charlie wasn’t even aware of EonBomb but was quite good friends with Ben. After traveling west to Edmonton and Banff, Ben and Matt moved to Toronto. In 2008 Ben ran into drummer Charlie Macleod, (finishing his degree in classical percussion/composition at UofT) randomly on his first night in the City (SO weird). Charlie and Kyle both joined the group about 6 months later and EonBomb was ready to take on the Toronto music scene.
