Bio

Formed in 2004, Eototo have quickly become one of the hottest rocking bands in London. Combining hard rock, funk, and soul into a melting pot of energy, Eototo have a distinct sound that has not been heard for a long time. You will not hear another band in the capital city like Eototo. Their uniqueness of sound is equivalent to their unique individuality of each member. They are truly a melting pot of musical styles which combine to make one kick-*ss band.

Born out of frustrated ashes of several indie bands, Eototo decided to bring history back into music. By delving into old school blues, rock and even progressive music, they blended a sound like no other. Their influences…Sly and the Family Stone, Aerosmith, BB King, Robert Johnson, The Beatles, Yes, Prince, RHP…the list goes on and on.

Having played such prestigious venues as London’s Purple Turtle, The Garage, , Liverpool’s world famous Cavern Club, Stokes Talbot Hotel, and numerous other venues, Eototo has hit on the masses who crave straight forward, driving rock.

In late 2004, they were signed to CJ Management and have since been linked to several major record companies, including Atlantic and EMI. In early 2005 they will release their Debut Album entitled “Trail of Tears,” on the independent label CJE records.

“…Pretty much straight down the middle of the road rock. The musical mix was pretty much flawless; sounding tight, controlled and melodic throughout their set...the vocals were nothing short of great, sounding very crisp and tuneful. The band even managed to get a shout of ‘encore’ from the intimate crowd left in the house, which they obliged…I look forward to seeing them come back to Plymouth again.”
