Bio

Epsilon Project represents the next generation of Ox City Hip Hop. The 7 Oxnard, California bred artists bring forth a fresh array of music in the midst of an ice flooded, misogynistic sea of mediocrity.

The group has shared stages with the likes of The Pharcyde, Little Brother, Madlib and countless other Hip Hop acts. Gearing up for their freshmen release in June '07, Epsilon Project has recently hit the road with KRS ONE and De La Soul.

Throughout their debut release, Raising the Bar, Epsilon Project brings forth the main ingredient: a Golden Era product with a new school twist.
The 13 track LP features: Wildchild and DJ Romes of the Loot Pack, Kankick, Stacy Epps, Oddisee and DJ Spinobi of IF2 (formerly of Ozomatli).

From the upbeat fun rap exhibited on ThatÂ’s That Crew, to the earnest topics tackled on I Rhyme For and Sincerely Yours, Epsilon Project revives a level of diversity that is truly missed in modern day Hip Hop. From beginning to end, Raising the Bar covers a gamut of interesting topics. Backstabbers, a rapid-fire ode to untrustworthy people over a classic boom bap track, and Mood Swings, a mellow description of temperamental females en suite with a melodic beat, exemplify the diversity provided by Epsilon Project on their freshman release. Note worthy appearances by Oddisee and Stacy Epps on Cali to D.C, Kankick on We Came for the Title and DJ Spinobi on Guerilla Press and My People, round out an album featuring an impressive cast of well known Hip Hop characters. Epsilon Project most certainly raises the bar with their freshman release.
