E.Que Soul is a dynamic multi-faceted entertainer with a burning desire to create and perform. Born in the dark city of Gary, Indiana in the 80’s, E.Que Soul was first inspired by his hometown hero Michael Jackson to become a musical icon. Often described as a bad boy with a good heart, E.Que has been torn between the dark struggles of his childhood in a city known as the murder capital of America and his unlikely hope for an exuberantly bright future for himself and the world at large. Although sometimes misunderstood, he uses his talents as a singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer to captivate audiences worldwide. E.Que has an electrifying stage presence and an incredible body of work that encompasses soul, pop, hip-hop, r&b, jazz, and rock. His work ethic is reflective of the unwavering ambition that runs deep within him. E.Que Soul unequivocally displays an unmatched versatility in today’s urban music industry with his signature soulful style. E.Que has been seen performing anywhere from tropical spots such as Honolulu and Miami to musically historical cities like New York’s Bronx borough and various venues throughout the Chicagoland area. He’s also rocked the crowds of hundreds of great fan-filled towns in between and has been fortunate enough to share the stage with amazing talents and the likes of KRS-One, Mos Def, Wyclef, Joss Stone, Van Hunt, and Maxwell throughout the course of his promising career. E.Que Soul’s releases, “Liquid Cool” and “Incredible” can be heard on various radio stations nationwide along with his latest mixtape “Reflection of the Beast” which is available for free download via internet. E.Que Soul has plans to release his groundbreaking EP “The Box Aint Big Enough” in the late summer of 2010. The EP is a magnificent colorblind showcase of a young man striving to leave his mark on the evolving musical world without the confinements of genre lines or the proverbial "box."
