Erfan is a modern Persian poet, influenced by his undying passion and love of literature and music- ancient and modern alike!

Indeed, a path which was only opened through Erfan’s determination and longing to share his most intimate thoughts with the world! Amidst criticism, and a lack of understanding for the hip hop culture within the Persian community, Erfan has challenged himself to represent his art in the truest form and as a result has won a legion of fans. Millions of people worldwide have listened to, watched and been able to experience first-hand the electrifying poems dropped onto beats, mesmerizing his audience- young and old!
A world-traveler, Erfan has an innate ability to connect with people through his music and has transcended language, culture, age, religion and gender as his poems reach hearts and minds regardless of the language that delivers them.
Following his critically acclaimed album, “Az Khaaneh Ta’ Goor”, released in 2007, Erfan has recently finished his sophomore album, “Hamishegi” soon to be released.
With an unmatched flow and writing ability, Erfan has set his sights on entering the larger arena of hip hop by penning new project in English. Erfan strives to achieve his dream of reaching millions more by opening up a window to his world through a more universal medium.
Erfan is also the founder and a member of Paydar- a grass-roots company formed to support and enrich the growth of its members, while promoting true Persian Hip-Hop, Rap and R&B. Paydar boasts a talented cast of song writers, producers, designers and marketing talent.
