“as he follows up his “Augmentation” visual with his latest collabo with Apollo Brown, “How I Move.” For the latest joint off of his upcoming EP, Words Paint Pictures, Pooh gets a vocal assist from crooner, Eric ‘Blakk Soul’ Keith on the hook” - OkayPlayer

"Mighty Burners - Blakk Soul - No Love Lost EP"

“But all hope isn't lost as there are many artists out there who successfully manage to mix there modern sound with classic inspirations. Enter singer/songwriter Blakk Soul and his new LP No Love Lost. This album is filled with earnest and soulful cuts that are not only steeped in tradition but also manage to blend in touches of hip hop, jazz and funk. From driven rhythms of it's opening tracks "This World (MarvIntro)" and "Move On" to the laid-back, organic notes of the closing tracks "No Doze" and "Bad Guy", this one album no soul music fan should overlook.” - Mighty Burners

"Rapper Big Pooh x Blakk Soul - Mistle Toe"

“Mistle Toe, a brand new single that finds the Little Brother alum settling in with his girl for a little Yuletide lovemaking. Tacoma singer/songwriter Blakk Soul co-headlines this sensual jam, lacing DJ Cozmos‘s low-key, fingersnap-laced production with an appealing falsetto hook.” - DJBooth.net
