Eric Michelson

Eric Michelson is an acoustic singer/songwriter from Boulder, CO. His songs analyze and explore the life that surrounds us without falling into common clichs of the musical industry. As a performer, he crafts a sardonic and unique viewpoint in which his music naturally shines. 

After 23 years on the East Coast, he was disillusioned with the music of the mainstream culture. Drawing upon a contemplative and meditative practice as part of a deep investigation of Buddhism, Taoism, and other eastern philosophies, Eric recognizes that the most important thing he can do is utilize the gift of songwriting to take his message to the next level. 

His songs are an in depth journey into the zeitgeist of society. Taking the good with the bad, his music is known to impact others in a profound and life-changing manner. Michelson believes that honest reflection and truth in one's music (neither optimistic nor pessimistic) will bring about the change necessary to heal the ills of the world.
