About Erica Hampton
When Erica Hampton sings you can feel the power of her voice in your chest. A sixteen-year old singer/songwriter and actress, Erica grew up in Marietta, GA surrounded by a musical family, and has been singing and dancing since preschool. Erica pours her teenage experience into original songs such as Dont Mean to Be Rude, an anti-haters anthem and Bodyguard, a song dismissing an overprotective boyfriend.
Live in the music is Ericas motto and her life experience resonates in every note and lyric. Her writing is inspired by everyday moments, garnering listeners from teenage to old age. Performing at events such as the NAACP ACT-SO competition, the Pebblebrook High School production of Thoroughly Modern Mille and the stage play Mama, Im Your Child Erica captivates every audience and commands every stage she encounters. Finding an insatiable drive within herself, Erica already demonstrates the tenacity, hard work, confidence, and humility that it takes to survive in the music business.
Ericas vocal range is indicative of her personality. Colorful. Soulful. Confident. Fresh. Her music is inviting and reaches deeply into the soul that connects all human experience. With a maturity that is beyond her years, Ericas voice is not limited by genre. She sings with an undeniable passion that is sultry and mature, yet acutely aware of the innocence and lessons of teenage life.
Great art comes through living and Erica uses her music to spread a positive message. She is still evolving, but this is only the beginning. Ericas life is a song that the world is waiting to hear.
