A twenty-two year old beauty that exudes energy, talent, drive, stage electricity and very positive mental determination, recently opening for top acts like Frankie J, Pit Bull, Rick Ross, FloRida and many others Erica Lee has already proven her star status in her own right. Singing since the age of seven, performing since the age of fifteen, Erica exhibits the polished poise of a much more seasoned performer. She has often been compared to the late beloved Texan Latin Grammy Award winning Tejano singer and American-Tex-Mexican Idol Selena Quintanilla-Pérez, as a tribute to her personal idol and inspiration, she usually opens her live show performances with several of Selena’s songs and the crowds just love it, even join Eric in singing her lyrical tributes to Selena!... Thus getting many, many repeat performance calls for Erica to come to perform from Florida to Texas to California all the way down to Belize and Mexico.

Since the release of her first two singles in 2006, “The Supa Sonic Gurl”, and “Let the Band Play”, Erica has been on the fast track to stardom. Affectionately dubbed the “MIA Princess”, she is endorsed by 99.1 FM-JAMZ, a Miami based hip-hop radio station that often calls on her to appear as one of the local talents on their exclusive roster exhibiting various talents during events. In addition to performing at over # 60 promotional events, both on the local and national level, she has spent most of 2007-08 in the studio, honing her skills as a singer and songwriter. Her goal is to infuse her studio recordings with the same electrifying intensity as her live performances.

Born and raised in southern Florida, Erica credits her parents as the role models that instilled in her at a young age the value of hard work and dedication. As a little girl Erica traveled with her grandfather’s band throughout Florida playing the drums and has known since then that creating music is her passion. Exposed to music since birth, she grew up listening to everything from Alexandra Guzman, Enrique Inglacius, Aventura, Johannas, to Madonna, Michael Jackson, the Temptations, Britney, Christina and most often of late Erica spends a lot of time listening to Beyonce and Lady GaGa. Erica continues to draw inspiration from all genres of music of various types. Erica often says that music flows in her blood, because music is her and she is music. In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing practical jokes on unsuspecting victims and volunteering her time with various charities, especially ones involving children. She describes herself as someone that lives for music, choosing to spend almost all her spare time in the studio. On the rare occasion Erica finds herself a part of the social scene, she’s always networking and looking for opportunities to further her career. She enjoys the chance to watch other artists perform, as they influence her to work harder and raise her expectations for herself.

As a female in the music industry Erica understands the pressure to conform and relies on her strong values, morals and ethics to stay true to herself, no matter what. Erica’s goals for the future include continuing to perform and collaborate with other well known and up and coming artists, to create an album worthy of winning a Grammy. Erica in future wants to eventually be able to form her own production company so she can give other talented artists the opportunities she’s been given.
