Lyrics

Let Yourself Fall

Written By: Erica Stenquist

I feel the rhythm of the train
Moving me, to an unknown destination
And I’m praying for a change
With my wild imagination

I watch the places pass me by
Frame by frame, like motion pictures in the rain
And I’m flipping through the sky-
Searching for my closing line

CHORUS:
Racing forward on run-away tracks
Fast enough you cant fall through the cracks
Don’t you worry you’ll find what you lack,
Just slow down and let yourself fall
slow down and let yourself fall
slow down and let yourself - fall for me.

I’ve got a memory in my pocket
Of a moment I can barely still taste
Hope you haven’t forgotten
I don’t wanna let it go to waste

All aboard for the voyage
While the engine is burning on chance
You can carry your baggage,
But the weight of it slows your advance.

REPEAT CHORUS 2X & OUTRO

Needing A Change

Written By: Erica Stenquist

VERSE
Tore my sleeve on my way out your door last night
Spilled out my heart on my new blue jeans
Soaked my collar in your cologne and it followed me home
Still wiping your fingerprints off of my buttons I’m split at the seams

REFRAIN
And it feels like I’m needing a change
Feels like I’m needing… a change

VERSE 2
There’s a space in your arms, like it’s shaped for me
And it made me a fool for a warm embrace
Crying just to put out the spark, and I’m spitting out troubled remarks
At my windshield

BRIDGE
A hundred firsts, and we’re watching them pass
As the onlookers start to amass
With their faces awaiting the sound of the crash
Holding their breath. Holding their breath…
For a change

REPEAT CHORUS 2X

Queen of Boston

Written By: Erica Stenquist

Tell me that you don’t even care about me
Cuz’ honey, is it worth the trouble trying to fake a lie?
Your watery words, yeah they’re diluting the truth
I’m sick of soakin’ wet feet, it’s raining puddles of you

So, I’m moving up to higher ground.
Sorry I can’t stick around

CHORUS:
Cuz’ tonight, I’m queen of Boston
And tomorrow I’m the talk of the town
I got hearts to bruise with my high heeled shoes
Cuz’ I’m tired of being thrown around
No telling where I’m bound
-I’m Queen of Boston

Tell me that you don’t need me
Tell me the truth and leave me be-
Cuz’ whats the point I’ve wasted too much time.
Sorry don’t work when you don’t follow through
I’m putting it all in the past cuz’ whats a woman to do?

I’m boardin’ this train and I wont look back
My life is waitin’ at the end of the track

CHORUS:
Cuz’ tonight, I’m queen of Boston
And tomorrow I’m the talk of the town
I got hearts to bruise with my high heeled shoes
Cuz’ I’m tired of being thrown around
No telling where I’m bound
-I’m Queen of Boston

Speechless

Written By: Erica Stenquist

How many times,
How many times,
How many more times,
Must I look you in the eye without telling you?

Could my heart bear the strain?
Who knew someone like you could cause me such pain?
So unbearable.

CHORUS:
Secret’s out, if you don’t know by now, then you may never know
Cuz’ don’t I make it clear? My cheeks are hurtin’ every time you’re near
I don’t know what it is, I try to tell you with a sigh,
But when you look me in the eye - I’m speechless,
So Speechless.

How many days,
How many days,
How many more seconds-
Could I wait to hold you with these eager arms?

‘Cuz it’s hard to ignore your compassionate squeeze,
The way that we laugh its all such a tease,
Oh geez I feel just like a little girl, a little girl…

CHORUS

I'm so...
I'm so...

Slide on Through

Written By: Erica Stenquist

VERSE 1:
Sit yourself down before me
Look me right in the eye
Seems we've grown accustomed to Sleeping in silence, and now I know,
It's no better than telling lies.

VERSE 2:
I'm getting tuckered out, trading Truthful for keeping my cool -
Too bad you know me so well, that it Ain't no mystery,
And we can agree, that every moment Feels perfect together,
But I'm dying to wake up one day with the taste of your kisses on me.

CHORUS:
Tell me what is your name?
Honey where have you been?
My whole life I've been waiting!
It's driving me crazy lately, longing for the real thing, the real thing, oh oh the real thing...
Tell me what are you hoping for?
I can't keep on waiting, holding that door for you... for you...
Slide on Through!

VERSE 3:
Take a deep, deep breath, we're Scared to death to let it all out.
You've built yourself a fortress of fear and its surrounding your heart.
It gets awfully cold, with only your Walls to hold you,
So please, don't let them keep us apart!

CHORUS / INTERLUDE /
CHORUS 2X
