Bio

I’ve been playing guitar for about 15 years now and have been writing songs and little jingles ever since I can remember. As a kid I spent a lot of time with my guitar and cheesy little keyboard making up songs playing them for my parents. I do, however, believe that this has helped me write songs today. Getting your creative juices flowing at a young age really teaches you how to use your imagination and not limit yourself to one way of thinking. I love the fact that I can create something that didn’t exist last week or even yesterday and have people listen to it and enjoy it as much as I do.

My music stems from many artists. I enjoy all types of music from Country to Rock and Pop and some R&B and Rap. I am a huge Tom Petty fan! I like The Fray, Eminem, Cold Play, Faith Hill, Evanesence, Fuel, Staind, Rascal Flatts, Blink 182, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20 and many many others.

I am a highly motivated professional individual. I have a BS degree in business and currently work in management for a medium sized company. In college I had many mini jams sessions with my buddies but nothing ever materialized from it. I actually never even thought of music as a career at that time. The one thing that I never really stopped doing was writing songs. Sure, some of them really suck! You won't here those. But the more you write the better you get. I think what sets me apart from a lot of songwriters is that I have the ability to write up beat sing-a-long type songs with good lyrics as well as more serious deeper thinking songs. I also believe that each one of my songs has it’s own unique qualities and doesn’t sound like all of my other tracks. In my opinion not every song has to travel deep into your inner thoughts to be successful. Sometimes it's just nice to bob your head and enjoy yourself.

I am somewhat of newbee in the music industry. (Please don't let that scare you!) My goal is to get my songs professionally recorded in a real recording studio with a seasoned producer and a great band, either with myself or with an established artist that could instantly give my songs a lot of exposure. Once that is complete, of course I'd like to see my music sold online, in stores, on the radio, TV, you name it. (WOW!). I love the whole process of creating a new piece of music and ultimately would like to make enough money to do it for a living.
