Eric Dorn Trio
This fresh jazz trio was formed in November of 2005. Our group is made up of Eric Dorn on guitar, Mark Lindblom on bass and Ryan Elwood or Joel MacCluskey on drums.
Since our 2005 debut, we have performed at the Brown Palace, Jazz @ Jacks, Trios Enoteca. Café Cero, Lagarto Café and The D-Note. Additionally, we were the Wednesday night house band at The Robusto Room for six months. We have also taken up residency at the Mead St. Station every last Saturday of each month.
At the 2006 Taste of Colorado, we opened for Dotsero and we are invited to perform there again this summer. Last April 21st, we performed on Live at Lunch, KRFC 88.9 fm, Ft. Collins.
Our trio continues to perform regularly at the private and corporate levels, as well as in the public eye, which we prefer as we can let our hair down a bit. You can always be sure to catch us at one of our favorite night spots around the Denver and the Boulder areas.
In a very short time, our unique group has bonded and developed our own voice; Our trio is no one-trick pony. We are apt to travel many avenues in the jazz community, from Blues to Bossa, from Mainstream to Modern, from Monk to Metheny You can hear it all with this hip, little trio. It’s all about Jazz; A true American Art Form!
