Eric Harper began his education in classical music at the Conservatory of Braga in Braga, Portugal. After completing his education in Europe he returned to the states and attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music; graduating with a Bachelor of Music in film scoring “Magna Cum Laude” in just over two years. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles where he lived
for 8 years to hone his skills both as a songwriter/composer but as well as a performer.
Eric is the winner of the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Award of 2000, a finalist in both the Morton Gould Composer Award of 2000 as well as the Lennon Songwriting Competition of 2002. Eric composed, performed and appeared in a commercial for Adidas featuring internationally renowned Spanish Golfer Sergio Garcia in 2003. In 2005 Eric was the Composer for the Oscar Award-Winning movie "Waiting Alone”.
Eric has performed all over the world in many countries including Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, France, China, Israel, USA and Canada. He has performed with Multi-Grammy award winner KC Porter, Chinese Pop Sensation Cheng Lin, Santana Producer JB Eckl, Juno award winning Producer Joby Baker and many others.
Dazzling audiences of thousands Eric continues to hone his performance and song-writing skills in beautiful British Columbia.
