Bio
Born in San Jose, Costa Rica on august 22 of 1986.
Erick met music during high school, having his first experience on music in the high school band playing the trombone. He got interested in the instrument that filled him musically through a friends guitar, Erick was a pretty shy guy but he saw that this friend could sang a lot of great songs that Erick always thought show the way he felt, making him saw this like a way to beat his shyness, specially the one he was more worried about, his shyness with girls.
Erick was so decided to learn he started studing in a autodidact way, using guitar magazines & internet, after that he formalize his studies in the University of Costa Rica (UCR) between 2001 & 2004, he learned music theory & composition from his older brother Mauricio, books & from the deep analisys of his favorite songwriters work.
He always have been a romatic music fan, he loves rock and it fusion with acoustic & latin bits.
He started recording his first proposals in the middle of 2004 and at this days he is finishing the edition of his debut album in spanish, album that has the participation of two of the more recognized musicians in Costa Rica: Kin Rivera Jr in the drums & Nelson Segura in the bass. Even if the album haven't been released radio stations in Costa Rica are already playing his first single: "Las canciones que escribi" & he is starting to record some songs in English, thinking in a near future to try some luck in the US.
Even Erick career is starting he already had the oportunity of share stage with some of the bigest bands in the country like “Evolución” & “Cantoamerica”, plus he have aready performed live on national TV.

Guitarrista y Cantautor
Nació el 22 de Agosto de 1986 en San José, Costa Rica. Conoció la música durante su educación secundaria en el Colegio Técnico Don Bosco ubicado en su ciudad de origen, su primera experiencia musical fue en la Banda de Instrumentos de Viento de su colegio tocando el Trombón, su interés en el instrumento que le llenó musicalmente fue a través de la guitarra de uno de sus amigos, Erick en un inicio aprendió guitarra de forma autodidacta utilizando cancioneros e Internet, Luego formalizó sus estudios en la Escuela de Artes Musicales de la Universidad de Costa Rica durante el periodo (2001-2004), aprendió sobre teoría musical de su hermano Mauricio, de libros y del profundo análisis de las propuestas de sus compositores preferidos.
Es un gran amante de la música romántica, del rock y de su fusión con ritmos latinos.
Comenzó la grabación de sus primeras propuestas a mediados del 2004 y hoy en día se encuentra editando material para un primer proyecto discográfico acompañado de una elite de músicos costarricenses como el baterista Kin Rivera Jr, el bajista Nelson Segura y uno de sus más grandes amigos, el guitarrista Fade.
A pesar de su hasta ahora corta trayectoria Erick ya ha compartido escenario con varias de las más grandes agrupaciones del país como “Evolución” y “Cantoamerica”, y su música formará parte de un disco compilado de rock junto a las agrupaciones “Gandhi”, “Mr. Kowalsky” y “13 millas de libertad”.
