Bio
Eric Leone has two fundamental characteristics that best describe his music...The elements of Love and Life. Love...the emotion that touches everyones' heart...and Life...that which stimulates the mind.
Eric is a graduate of the Hartford Conservatory School of Music, where he studied Jazz Guitar. Eric is also an accomplished song writer and producer.
Eric has had the honor of working and performing with famed saxophonist, Marion Meadows, who also plays on Eric's fresham album, "Outstanding", Eric has also had the honor of being the opening act for the legendary Roy Ayers, also was honored to be featured on the song "Barry's Medley on the Breaking The Rules CD by Rahni Song".
Eric released is freshaman CD, "Outstanding" in 2003 which was met with much excitement in smooth jazz radio and among his fans. Many of the songs released from this CD are still being played daily on smooth jazz radio stations around the world.
In 2010 Eric accomplished his Sophmore CD entitled "Cruisin", which he dedicated countless hours of wonderful time to...time that cherished exploring and expanding his talent and his creativity. What was born of this time was a talent that has evolved into modern, urban moving tunes that will get into your soul.
"Cruisin' has Reached the Smooth Jazz charts (#28) as well as the Smooth Jazz Indie Charts (#11) in 2010
The second release, "Groove with me", Reached (#42) on the Smooth Jazz charts, and (#20) On the Indie charts
Eric is a proud supporter of The American Diabetes Association, and donates $1 from each CD sale to them in honor of his beloved mother, Maggie Pritchett
