Notable songs that receive the most positive feedback are "Lamprey" and "Realize".

Bio

eel has been singing/playing guitar and writing in the same band with its brothers (older and oldest) for several years now. They toured most of the U.S. and made people miserable under several different band names. They were originally known as "Impulse" and settled on "A Media Circus" for the last 5 years (Thanks to Michael Jackson and CNN's collaborative inspiration for the name).

In September of 2010, eel moved its family to Portland, OR from its hometown of Ft. Worth, TX. Its goal is have its music published/distributed and possibly re-recorded by other reputable artists/entertainment affiliates as needed.

eel's music is loud/catchy/witty and at times "goose-bumpy" to those that actually listen to the words (or those that feel pity for it...). eel's major influences range anywhere from Gordon Lightfoot, Cheap Trick, Kiss, U2, Jane's Addiction, TOOL and Seal. But those are only a snap-shot of its iPod collection, as there are too many to mention here.

eel tries not to take itself too seriously or become too methodical and just lets songwriting come naturally. Instead of trying to sound like other bands, it tries to create songs that it and bands that it loves would respect. If it can accomplish that, then hopefully most music lovers will enjoy it themselves.
