1
I have my reasons to believe, in everything that I see,
Knowing that its from the Lords own had, not just an empty dream,
(repose)Thats why when I pray, I'm careful what I say,
'cause I never, ever want, wanna pray a lie.
(CHrs)
There are people in this World, who take just what they can, leaving others hungry in, a hostile barren land.
All the gold upon thier fingers, all the clothes that they wear, made from the suffering of thier fellow man.

2
Sometimes late at night, I sit there and I cry, thinking of the children, who tomorrow, will die, trapped in this World, created by God
Yet left to the greed and hurt, of thier fellow man.
(repose) thats why when I pray, I'm careful what I say, cause I never ever want, wanna pray a lie.

Rpt chrs

Yesterday I was watching, the news on TV, When I saw the leaders of this Land(world) that they call free, sat around thier tables , eating drinking wine,
discussing Our freedom, thinking ,they do fine.
(repose) thats why when I pray, I'm careful what I say, cause I never ever want, wanna pray a lie.

(chrs)There are people in this World, who take just what they can, leaving others hungry, in a hostlie barren land.
All the gold upon thier fingers, all the clothes that they wear, made from the suffering, of thier fellow man
