To Be Happy

Written By: Erienne Romaine

Would it be better if I stayed at home?
Would it be better us both alone.
'Cause if I stayed now, I don't think you'd know how to smile.
'Cause if I mean the world to you, I've gotta be responsible too.
So I should tell you, you don't need me to be happy.
Would it be best to have one heartbreak, if I promised that it's for your sake.
'Cause if I stayed now, I really don't think you'd know how
To truly smile.
'Cause if I mean the world to you, I've gotta be responsible too.
So I should tell you, you don't need me to be happy.
Would it be better if I stayed at home?
Would it be better us both alone.
'Cause if I stayed now, I don't think you'd know how to smile.
'Cause if I mean the world to you, I've gotta be responsible too.
So I should tell you, you don't need me to be happy.
You don't need me, you don't need me.
You don't need me to be happy, don't you see.

Serenande Me

Written By: Erienne Romaine

Serende me, serenade me, tell me a lie that's beautiful, sing me back to sleep.
Serenade me. serenade me, a sugar-coated lullabye that eases me to dreams.
Above the surface, I won't dive in. The waters are far too cold. Instead I'll swim, in the sky, where clouds intoxicate me.
I'll live a melody, within harnonized calamity. Falling deeply into whispered words 'till there's nothing else that can be heard.
Serenade me, serenade me. A sugar-coated lullabye that eases me to dreams. Serenade me, serenade me.
Tell me a lie that's beautiful, oh sing me back to sleep. Sing me back to sleep. Sing me back to sleep.

The Nothing That We Are

Written By: Erienne Romaine

Post afternoon light, but pre-twilight, pale rays shine.
The air isn't warm, but it's not quite cool, but still you can feel it.
There's something about the nothing that we are.
Theres something our distance, between near and far.
Before and pinks and pastel reds start fading westward bound.
When numb conversations almost hint toward change, and breezes hardly sigh.
There's something about the nothing that we are.
There's something about the dull hours that promise us a star.
There's something about the grass when it's brown,
that something will let you know it'll turn green somehow.
Somehow, somehow.
There's something about the way you don't know me,
There's something about the way I don't know you.
There's something about the dull hours that promise a star.
There's something about the nothin' that we are.
There's something about the the grass when it's brown,
that something will let you know it'll turn green somehow.
Somehow, somehow.
There's something about the way you don't know me.
There's something about the way I don't know you.
There's something about the dull hours that promise us a star.
There's something about the nothing that we are.
There's something about the the nothing that we are.
There's something about the the nothing that we are.

Things Change

Written By: Erienne Romaine

Things change, simple ebb and flow.
You think you know but you never know.
Things change, just a pass of time
makes sense that we'd fall apart but I guess it slipped my mind.
This is your brain on love, not a whole lot else you're thinking of.
Like everything will start then end, we just don't know when.
'Cause things change, when you look away, when you look away.
Things changed, while I looked away.
So now I'm back to sqaure one, there's not much more to say.
Things changed when the lights turned on.
Oblivion felt so good but I was always wrong.
Could be for the better now, this change it could be for the worse.
All I know is it's different now, when I didn't get a chance to rehearse.
Things change, it's best to let it go.,
It may seem like it's out of place, but one day you will know why things change.
