Erika Thomas

Girl alternative, indie, a touch of happy and sad mixed together. Mellow but with an edge to it and contains lyrics others can relate to.

Life is my main influence. I get a reactions to my music that even I don't expect and appeal to a wide variety of people. I know my music is different from other music you can find today. I personally haven't heard anything like it. I've been singing my enitre life, performing since I can remember at karaoke places, schools, coffee shops and anything else I could find. I've been playing the guitar for 8 years and am always striving to learn as much as I can about other instruments and music in general.

Influences: Fiona Apple, Cranberries, 30 Seconds to Mars, Nine Inch Nails, U2, Slipknot, Bjork, Frou Frou, Imogen Heap, Chevelle, No Doubt, Vivaldi, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Christina Aguilera and much more.

Moving On was finished in April of 09, Stereotypical Life was finished in June of 09, cover of "Wreck of The Day" by Anna Nalick finished in October of 2010, and Here's Your Space was finished in January of 2010. These songs, anf others, are going towards my EP and future album. Will add these songs to iYunes very soon.

Set List

My set list varies. Since I generally play at coffee shops and small restaurants, I am used to playing for about an hour or so. I usually play about 7 of my own songs along with covers from 30 Seconds to Mars, The Cranberries and Anna Nalick. Only a few of my songs have been fully recorded.
