After having sold around 40,000 copies of his debut album Between the Lines, (2002), and of his follow-up, Century, theres no doubt that Faber will be an artist to count on in the future.
Four singles from his debut album (On Top of the World, Between the Lines, Waiting, and Sleep) reached the Norwegian Top 20 radio chart. He followed these up with hits like the elegant Yesterdays Call, Last Nights Boogie, and Century. This success and Eriks many concerts in Norway have heightened expectations regarding his third album. But thats no problem for a pop craftsman like Erik.
Not Over, the first single from Passages, shows that Erik still has a good nose for overwhelming melodies, meaningful lyrics and an unmistakable mood. This is classy pop music, very catchy and with timeless quality. Its how quality pop should be.
