Bio
Erin is a 21 year old Singer-Songwriter from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She taught herself how to play ukulele when she was in 7th grade, and began teaching herself the guitar shortly thereafter. She has a background in voice, and is currently exploring a wide range of instruments, from piano, to mandolin, to string dulcimer. She has been heavily influenced by artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, and most recently, Dodie.
For most of her childhood, Erin was surrounded by music. Choir and musicals fed her soul, and throughout her solo career, her strong passion for the arts has influenced her writing. She is currently a Junior in college, pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education Lawrence University.
In the summer of 2016, she released her first album “Simple Stories” on Bandcamp. The album is now available on several music-sharing platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, and more. In fall of 2017, Erin released her second album, Cardboard House. The album primarily features ukulele and guitar, with some guest performers on vocals, piano, and violin. She is also part of a brand-new music duo, Awake For Birds, with her roommate and fellow musician, Lizzy Lynch. Erin is currently performing gigs around the Appleton area, as well as some venues around Chicagoland.
