"With Soul Garden, Jaimes' blues have bloomed. Opening with the self-penned title track, Garden displays a firm grasp of soul songwriting... Jaimes fearlessly tackles ballads ("Fear"), shuffles ("Tell Me Why"), Delta blues ("Tuck Him In"), and rockers ("I Don't Mind") with accompaniment variously from Carolyn Wonderland, Beth Garner, and Eve Monsees." - Austin Chronicle, 5/24/07 - Austin Chronicle

Bio
In 2004, blues firecracker Erin "Icewater" Jaimes was dubbed one of "Austin's promising female bluesicians" and voted #8 bassist in town by the Austin Chronicle. By 2007, with the release of her second CD, "Soul Garden," the Chronicle stated that "Jaimes' blues have bloomed!" Jaimes has been playing and singing in Austin’s highly competitive blues scene for over a decade, has toured regionally and internationally, and been featured in a national advertising campaign for Net10 Wireless. Jaimes' tough, soulful vocals front a scorching modern Texas blues band featuring Luke Cutchen on guitar, “The Italian Tornado” Banzai LA Rocca on harmonica, Matt Farrell on keys and backup vocals and Doug Day on drums.
