Lyrics

Company

Written By: McCallum

I got a cramp in my style
You know it ain't good,
It's been bad for a while,
Things don't go like they should
I'm telling you baby
Things just ain't right
I've got a man like a desert
He gets cold at night
The blues done followed me
There ain't no sense complaining
At least I've got some company

You know I've got two holes,
And a rip in my shirt
I've got worn soles
And my face in the dirt
I ain't got a dollar
I ain't got a dime
It's the same damn story
Ask me any time
The blues done followed me
There ain't no sense complaining
At least I've got some company

Ain't no use to talking
It don't come out right
I've got some trouble walking
And I've lost my sight
Don't worry baby
Listen what I say
The blues come and get me
Mostly every day
The blues done followed me
There ain't no sense complaining
At least I've got some company

Ain't No Blues

Written By: McCallum

Ain't No Blues in New Orleans
Lord no, there ain't no blues
Ain't No Blues in New Orleans
Lord no, there ain't no blues
There was only rain and water
There ain't nothing left to lose

I went down to the levee
To see what I could find
I went down to the levee
To ease my worried mind
There was only rain and water
Ain't even Blues was left behind

Water keeps on rising
I can't even see the ground
Water keeps on rising
I cant even see the ground
There ain't no Blues to get me by
And my tears don't make a sound

Ain't No Blues in New Orleans
Lord no, there ain't no blues
Ain't No Blues in New Orleans
Lord no, there ain't no blues
There was only rain and water
There ain't nothing left to lose
