Erkin Love

Erkin Osmanli (aka Erkin Love) is a singer, songwriter, producer, poet, lyricist, actor, and model from Baku, Azerbaijan. 

Inspired by Backstreet Boys' music he started singing, dancing, and writing pop music at the age of 9. In 2006 at the age of 17 he became widely known in his country as a contestant of a popular "Akademiya" music show, hosted and mentored by the most prominent pop stars of Azerbaijan, eventually finishing 5th and promoting pop punk and alternative rock music among young and adult fans. 

In 2007 he finished 5th in Eurovision Song Contest's National Selection followed by another participation in 2012. In 2014 he once again fought for a chance to represent Azerbaijan in Eurovision Song Contest and finished 3rd. 

In 2007 Erkin was featured in a "Virus of Love" musical, staged at Azerbaijan State Russian Drama Theatre in Baku, as a singer; in 2017 Erkin was featured in a gothic sci-fi play "D4rkly Your Retrorockets Fl4re", staged at the Flamboyan Theatre in New York, this time as an actor, singer, and songwriter.

To date Erkin wrote over 400 original songs, 50 poems, released two singles, produced one short clip, and also wrote for few famous artists in Azerbaijan. His main musical influences are Backstreet Boys, The Beatles, Oasis, Madonna, George Michael, Lenny Kravitz, U2, and Disclosure. 

He worked as a copywriter between 2011 and 2015 for local and international brands and companies. Erkin holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Law and speaks Azerbaijani, English, Russian, and Turkish fluently. He loves soccer and played on a junior level between 2001 and 2005. He is deeply dedicated to living life spiritually. 

Since 2015 he lives in New York and is currently working on his debut EP along with other pop music projects.
