Ermesc Gonzalez
guitar and percussion player, composer and educator.
Graduated with honors in jazz performance from the well known Aaron's Copland School of Music in Queens College, New York City.
Ermesc has been playing guitar and percussion for more than 15 years, combining two very different instruments that give him the tools to mix melody, harmony, improvisation and a strong rhythm foundation to create a very colorful concept as a guitar and percussion player.
He has performed with many renowned musicians, bands and groups in Puerto Rico and New York City. From latin jazz to modern jazz, reggae, boss nova, fusion and with he's own groups The Caribbean Folkloric Group established in New York City and Ermesc's Jazz Trio Established in San Juan Puerto Rico.
Now he presents his first CD Album "INTROSPECTION", released 04/2010, playing some of Ermesc's original compositions in a jazz trio format with exquisite melodies, deep melodic improvisations and a rich harmony concept. This INDIE album is available world wide through the internet and it's amazing sites like; Itunes, Amzon, CDbaby and many more.
