Eros by Ares is an alternative band based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Initially the band started with just two members, James Martin and Frankie Romero. After several lineups with different people the band took shape, adding bassist Dakin Grubis and drummer Adam Chapman. In the summer of 2009 the band decided to begin their recording career.
With only a Macbook Pro and a multitude of gear acquired over the years, the band jumped into recording their first album. The self-titled album is structured around isolation, to the point of social avoidance. The band took to a small cabin in the heart of East Texas, where they wrote, recorded and experienced true separation.
They are currently working on their next album.
