Bio
July 13, 2007 - Harbour Front, Toronto.
Faded colours, the day has been reduced to shades of grey.
He sat on a bench smoking a cigarette, his guitar laying beside him. It was raining.
"Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to have a spare one would you?" - someone asked.
"Aye, I do." - the guy on the bench replied, taking a pack out his pocket - "Help yourself"
"Thanks" - said the other one. He was carrying a Strat behind his shoulder.
"Do you play?" - he asked, lighting up a cigarette.
"I most certainly do" - the other replied and took an acoustic-electric Yamaha out of its case.
October 3, 2009 - Rehearsal Studio, somewhere in Toronto.
The room was drenched in gloom and cigarette smoke.
"Give me a six-four on the cymbal. Loud and splashy, then start with the kick" - he asked the drummer.
Little could be heard above the din of two Marshall amps.
"Still jet-lagged?" - he turned.
"What do you bloody think?" - the other replied, putting out a cigarette.
"Can you still play after a year of cocking about?" - he asked sarcastically.
Six cymbal crashes cut through the thick air, which was heavy with anticipation. The room exploded into a cut-throat, mind-fuck, blood-clot of a song.
London was burning.
April 9, 2010 - Recording Space, somewhere in Toronto.
"Are we rolling?" - he asked, talking into the mic.
"Aye, we are" - the other replied - "Thrill me."
July 13, 2010 - Harbour Front, Toronto, 2:30 am.
Blood-shot eyes. Serene black waves. Two restless minds. The city drenched in Noir…
"Here's to two years to babylon" - one of them said.
"Aye…" - the other replied.
They lit up.
Inhale… Exhale… Ad Infinitum.
