The Message

Written By: Errol H Renaud

Words and music by Errol Renaud
The Message

Come on let’s celebrate love tonight
Forget the trouble around us
Let’s do it right
Come on babe let’s put on a show
Of love, sweet love
And hope the world would follow
Chorus
The message is love oh
The message is love
The message is peace woo oh
The message is love
let love be the message

Let all our thoughts be positive
Accept the bitter with the sweet
And change our negatives
Let’s be the true loving example
So everyone around us would join and be loveable
Chorus (repeat)

Let’s reach for a higher consciousness
Spread the love
With truth and righteousness
Use the power, the power of the music
Enough silly songs
Spread the message with conscious lyrics
Chorus
The message is love oo o oh
The message is love spread the message
The message is peace oo oo oh
The message is love let love be your message
The message is peace wo spread the message
The message is love oh sweet love
The message is peace oh
The message is love let love be the message
(adlib)
peace & justice, love & togetherness, let’s all spread the message, love & happiness, message in the music

Havana Mama

Written By: Errol H Renaud

Words and music by Errol H. Renaud

Havana mama

Dancing under the disco lights
She looked so good, rosy and bright
From head to toe she was dressed to kill
The way she moves gives me such a thrill

Chorus
Havana mama she love my soca
Havana mama sweet like sugar
Havana mama I love her salsa
Havana mama show me your cha cha

the clothes she wore exposed all she got
the gleam in her eyes says she wanted a lot
the way she danced she was out to tease
I could tell she was hard to please

Chorus
Havana mama she love my soca
Havana mama sweet like sugar
Havana mama I love her salsa
Havana mama show me your cha cha

I wandered if the smile she gives was real
To be close to her how would I feel
She said to me come dance the night away
Tomorrow is only another day

Chorus
Havana mama she love my soca
Havana mama sweet like sugar
Havana mama I love her salsa
Havana mama show me your cha cha
Havana mama she love calypso
Havana mama teach me to mambo
Havana mama she sweet and sexy
Havana mama shake up your body
