The best kept secret in music

"The Box Factory For the Arts"

If I could book Willow every Saturday night, I could fill all 200 seats each time. Willow consists of 4 extremely talented performers who can fill the stage with instruments and play them all. They have a large following which really helps ticket sales. Regardless, I would book them just because I enjoy their music that much.

"Willow's energetic and rhythmic interpretations
of tunes from Celtic to bluegrass to 50's rock and roll, plus
outstanding original songs, make them unique among the bands I know of.
Where else can you find Natalie MacMaster, Alison Krauss and Carl
Perkins in the same group? Willow is a must-hear experience - and then
you'll be a fan forever."

Feeling a bit camera shy

If you combined Allison Krause, Leahy, Nora Jones, and Nickel Creek, you would get a taste of some of the driving influences in Willow's music. "We like to keep our audiences guessing," says Eryca Nelson. "What will they hear next? a fiery fiddle tune, a jazzy vocal piece, one of Carl's awesome guitar solos, or maybe a relaxing harp tune. We also like to take something that the audience has heard before, like a traditional tune, and give it a new twist." Willow consistently pack's their shows with versatility and originality which keeps the audiences coming back for more.

Although Willow is fairly new on the music scene (originated in 2004) the individuals that make up the band are not. Both Carl Payne and Edd Skjordal have performed professionally for years and Eryca Nelson has performed her original music across the U.S. from Maryland to California. Tim King has been known to participate in more than nine bands at a time while also running his own recording studio.

Eryca Nelson and Carl Payne have both released solo c.d.s and Willow will soon be releasing their first live c.d.
