Biography

Escape Directors is an alternative pop quartet from Bergen County, NJ. They burst into the scene last summer with their debut album Ladders and reached national appraise with commercial radio airplay, gaining attention from top music tastemakers. Since their first release, EsDi have grown immensely, fine-tuning their musical craft, fueling material for their newest EP, The Crowded Room. The band picked up and moved to Cleveland to work with indie and alternative guru Jim Wirt (Jack's Mannequin, Incubus). With the new EP, they mix the similar style lyrical sincerity of Death Cab For Cutie with more rock-driven arrangements from acts like Coldplay and Radiohead.

Recently named the “Best of 2010” by Q104.3’s Jonathan Clarke, the quartet is writing new material and touring the Tri-State area.
