Bio
Eskal-8 Publishing was founded in 2007 by Norwegian writer/producer Carsten Moss and UK songwriter Sue Ballingall.
After spending 5 years working as a session player and producer in NYC, Carsten returned to his native Norway where he started pop duo Opus X, signed with Sony Music and had a string of chart successes including 1 hit 'Loving You Girl'.
Looking for new challenges he relocated to London in 2006 and co founded Eskal-8 with Sue Ballingall.
Sue has been working for many years as a session vocalist and guitarist in the UK and also internationally, both live and in the studio. She has worked extensively for major labels, having toured in the UK, Europe and the US.
She began her own production company in 2001 and since then has written and licensed over 60 tracks for release to various companies for artists, advertising and film.
In the short time they have been working together the projects are starting to mount up.
Already they have written and produced a song for a compilation CD called 'Urban Twist', due out later this year, written and produced a jazz tune for a new Hollywood film called 'Happy Holidays', have a number of country/pop crossover songs in production for various US artists and are also currently producing a track for sensational upcoming UK RnB artist.
