"ESP Worht A Listen"

The Environmental Stimulation Project is a musical collective that combines Rock, Funk, Blues and HipHop to create a sound that is soulful, lively and original. ESP began in 2002 when Kenny Dameron, an experienced rapper, joined up with an existing three-piece consisting of Jess Kugler on drums, David Marquez on guitar, and Jesse Christensen on bass. At that time Kenny's addition to the group on vocals brought an element of hip-hop to what was more of a psychedelic rock/fusion band. The use of the word "project" in the name was to indicate that this was a band that operated more like a jazz group in that personal may come and go, and come again without interrupting the creative force of the band itself.
The next evolution of ESP came about a year later with the addition of current members Carlos Goodwin on harmonica and percussion and Marc Busi on guitar. A goal was set to get in the studio as soon as possible and record a new album. The result of this effort is the current release, "Always Been", a ten song CD which includes the tracks "Warrior", "Better Way", "30 Point Scale". This album showcases ESP's eclectic sound as it moves in a more soulful, bluesy direction.

ESP has a ambtious scheduhle to matchthe look for date this Fall/Winter near you.
The Environmental Stimulation Project is always moving forward. This band has goals move beyond over the Denver scene and become a voice for this great city.
