After spending twenty-five years as a practicing clinical psychologist, I'm playing music and writing songs that reflect my experiences with loss, success, love, and dreams. My influences range from Skip James to Ray Davies to Bob Dylan to Elvis Costello to Don Van Vliet, from Carl Jung to Wilhelm Reich to Robert Anton Wilson to Ram Das to Tom Robbins. My background might set me apart, but I prefer to think of myself as connected and part of something larger than myself rather than as separate and different from others.

I am primarily a solo artist, but am currently starting a group called "the bones." we are a three-piece at present: guitar/vocal+violin+bass/vocal. We perform mostly my original songs, but fill in our set list with songs by Ray Davies, Skip James, Townes Van Zandt, Lou Reed, Amadou and Mariam, John Cale, Radiohead, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, etc.
