Bio
Estafets formed in early 2010, outside the city limits of a western Washington retirement community called Sequim. The town, known for its lavender, elk, and elderly, is several hours away from Seattle. Estafets have overcome the distance between themselves and the city by bridging the gap with their music.
Often described as eclectic, Estafets combine the sounds of post-punk, indie, and metal to create a crossbreed between the quirkiness of The Pixies and the sultry, heaviness of Deftones. Influences ranging from Queen to Gojira, are instrumental to the concoction that is Estafets. Pop sensibilities are incorporated beneath well-crafted, angry riffs.
Annie's chilling vocals and guitar work, Jesse's thunderous drumming, and Jordan's erratic, pulsating bass, create intense, self-destructive, and beautiful sounds.
