Often compared to bands such as The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, and The Killers, this talented trio incorporates the best qualities of the indi-rock scene with their appealing song writting and contrasting musical styles to make them far from just another similar thing.
Straight from the suburbs of La Verne CA, the three peice that is Etcetera Etcetera combines indi, funk, and rock to create a high energy sound that just makes you want to dance. The storytelling lyrics and vocal melodies that you can't help but sing along with, establish lead singer, Steve Mucci as not only a poet, but a great song writer. With metal and hard rock in his veins and funk in his fingers, bass player, Justin Tullio uses his technical abilities as a hard rock guitarist to groove on the funky base lines that fill the bands sound. And last, but not least, Nick Gutierrez, strongly influenced by Tim Alexander of Primus and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but a hip hop drummer at heart, locks in with the bass, and holds the goove with his hot beats.
Within only a few weeks of the bands conception, Etcetera Etcetera has been playing shows at local venues with bands such as Beatmo, and The A-Sides as well as in Hollywood at The Rainbow Room. Etcetera Etcetera has also has had a lot of success on the internet via GarageBand website racking up the awards for some of their songs. Etc Etc is currently working on their untitled debut album in the studio. Look out for this band on the rise.
