Bio
Etchmark is an alternative rock band based out of Dallas, Texas. The band started when a husband and wife with a love for rock music passion to give hope to others, moved them to begin writing about their life experiences. Lindsey Mayer, lead vocalist, and Kelly Mayer, guitarist, started writing songs in 2008. By the end of 2010, Etchmark became a full band of like-minded musicians, striving for the same goal and purpose.
Throughout 2011, Etchmark grew leaps and bounds as a band, booking many shows, fine tuning their sound, and making themselves better known in the Dallas music scene. It wasnt too long before the band realized that they were ready for the next big step, which was to find a highly distinguished producer to record their original songs. The producer they sought out was Travis Wyrick. Wyrick is a Grammy Nominated, Dove Award winning producer, who has worked with the likes of Disciple, P.O.D. Pillar, The Letter Black, and Children 18:3. Etchmark released their five song EP, The Voice Within in May of 2012, and has released their single Firestorm to radio.
Etchmark remains committed to writing music that captivates and inspires. As things continue to fall into place, this band is ready to unleash the heart and passion of their music.
