This band began (as most) from a breakup of 2 bands the drummer was in around 1998. Out of one band an R&B bass player and out of another band a heavy metal guitar player was brought in. From that first jam session of 5 non stop hours a creative juice only to be compared to moonshine with Tabasco sauce was the birth of EGW. The band has since lost the founding Bass player and in walked a new found flavor of a different spice around 2002. More along the lines of a good red pepper EGW continued its brand of cooking up flavorful jams. EGW continues to play local hangouts in the Baltimore / Washington area sometimes floating down the river to Richmond Va or up to Phili Pa. .
