"Cream Soda"

" Ether are a band on the move, with their first video hot off the press and back in the studio to record their second EP, this is definately one to watch"
Paul Daniels - - Blu TV

"Infectious Debut"

"The self titled debut EP 'ether' is obsessively relentless in sheer power as it is, in quirky melodies. Creamsoda, the infectious first track has been a staple on XFM and the reasons are obvious. This is a band we'll be hearing alot from in the future, mark my words."

Donna Reides - DIY

"We rocked so hard we peed our pants"

"This was the band's first overseas show, and they performed admirably. The singer was awesome in almost every respect, but she really needed to forge a bit more of a relationship with the audience. She was holding out her hand, but the audience was afraid to eat out of it. It may seem like I have a lot of complaints, but really the band are ninety percent of the way there. There's a lot of talent here."

Discography

Ether have recently completed a promotional single, Cream Soda, which is being supported by XFM. Two further tracks compliment Cream Soda; Trans Am and Fading Away, the former a synth heavy track about soundwaves, the latter a dubby hip hop track about withdrawals.

A full album release will be forthcoming in the Autumn of 2007, as they will be recording throughout summer.

Songs. its all about songs.

Bio

Ether are a London based band with influences that range from the electro stylings of Depeche Mode to the glorious noise of the Pixies. Along the way they pick up pieces of Karen O, Curve, Primal Scream, Klaxons, the future and the past.

Ether have been together for 24 months and have an arsenal of songs that are deliciously upbeat and melodic. They write about breaking free from the set routines of life, disposable living, self belief and ambition.
In the last 3 months, they have played a set of shows in London at unconventional venues and underground parties, these include the Area 10 festival, (an artists network in Camberwell), and above the Dragon Bar in Old Street.

They have recently filmed a video for promotional Single Cream Soda, this video is available to view at www.myspace.com/fuckether.

In September 2007 the band is scheduled to play a clutch of shows in Russia, followed by festival appearances in Australia in December 2007.

Ether love other bands, maybe thats what sets them apart?
