""Crafty, confident, and more than a little clever pop music""

" Crafty, confident, and more than a little clever pop music from this New York outfit....Ether Park has done their homework and it shows, fusing together rock and pop and jazz....This is smart work. Is Top-40 radio ready for Ether Park? Probably not, but you should be." - Cake Magazine

""Hooks had me singing along with the choruses by just the third listen""

"Ether Park delivers female-fronted, guitar-driven, radio friendly, mainstream alternative rock. The cadence of " Willing to Lose" makes it stick in your mind, but it's "Am I Good Enough" and "Just Like Carolina" whose hooks had me singing along with the choruses by just the third listen." - Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter, Industry Edition

""For those pure pop fans out there.""

" This is a fun little tape, very poppy and happy. Dancy, even. The female singer has a lovely voice. For those pure pop fans out there." - Shoelace Fanzine

""Refreshing to hear something toally new...""

"In a world of alternative clutter that has lost it's direction, its refreshing to hear something totally new. There is some thought put into Ether Park's music. It's a mix of blues and modern rock that collide quite nicely. Susan Bachner's vocals draw you in and caress your senses..." - Crash Zero E-Zine

Bio

Singer/songwriter Susan Bachner creates alternative pop, influenced by Elvis Costello, John Phillips, the Jam, Squeeze. Without a record deal , Ether Park has charted often in CMJ with colleges in the U.S. and Canada, with top 10, 20, and 30 lists. What sets us apart from other bands is the excitement and electricity of our music, combined with refined song writing generally not seen in most other bands. Ether Park songs are satisfying melodically, and carry clever, insightful pictures of the world.
Ether Park has played many well known venues in NYC, including Arlene Grocery, the Mercury Lounge, and Webster Hall. Music conferences and festivals include: The Philadelphia Music Conference,The Digital Club Fest, NYC's Viper Ball, and the Irish Expo.
Other gigs include several east coast colleges, and the Kendall Cafe in Boston, a stage that has been visited by Jason Falkner and Elvis Costello.
Their second EP CD "Ether Park and Friends Visit the Island of Misfit Toys", containing unique alternative covers of holiday tunes, has become a seasonal favorite of college radio in the last few years. Ether Park performed these songs at the Continental in NYC, as part of their fund raising benefit for Windows of Hope Family Relief Fund
(established to give aid to the families of vicitms of the World Trade Center Tragedy who worked in the food service profession.)
