E TIZZ

Timothy Grimwade aka E.Tizz is an up and coming Gospel hip-hop sensation. His distinctive persona and style along with his Christ centred inspirational lyrics have distinguished him from other MC’s. His music reflects a fusion of hip hop/grime/rock, giving it the ability to reach audiences worldwide.

Mentored by Christian Hip Hop MOBO winning artist Jahaziel. E Tizz has ministered across the world to many varying audiences including Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Slovakia and the US. E.Tizz has also graced stages with US artists such as Lecrae, Ambassador and Grammy award nominated Da’ T.R.U.T.H.

Having recently signed a management deal with Preacher Boy Music, E.Tizz is set release his debut album ‘Sound of My soul’ and go global!!

At 25 years old and recently married, E.Tizz has already experienced so much in life and has used his music as a vehicle to do so, taking us on a journey with him.
London-based, E.tizz was born in Enfield, then adopted into a Christian home from birth and has since lived in South East London. Never seeing colour or race as a boundary, E.Tizz first being introduced to hip-hop music by his neighbour became captivated by it at the age of 9. He soon grew to love it and behind closed doors began to write and practice his own lyrics. Never taking his own work too seriously as he grew up, E.Tizz continued as many young people do, to follow his favourite artists at that time.
At the age of 18, changes began to take place in E.Tizz’s life and heart. He grew to know the Lord, dedicated himself to Him and was baptised. Soon after this E.Tizz redirected his writing talent from secular to gospel as this is what his life was now about. He knew that God could use him and took it upon himself to study with fellow believers who were like-minded which eventually lead them into forming their own hip-hop gospel group known as ‘Young Wizdom’.
E.Tizz much encouraged by his mentor Jahaziel has recently embarked on his own solo album ‘Sound Of My Soul’. It features top UK artists such as GuvnaB, G-Force, SammyG, S.O and Jahaziel. The album also has tracks produced by Super Producer G.P of New Direction Crew and Grime extraordinaire Jimmy James.
