Bio
ETQ is a jazz, hip-hop, R&B, funk, and soul collective whose purpose is to Elevate The Quest for life through music. Holding a basic belief that if it's good, it's good, ETQ brings a creative style of music that is heavily influenced by traditional/modern jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, rhythm & blues, funk and drum and bass. A finalist in the Churchill Grounds first future of jazz competition, their sound has been described as "post-smooth, metaphysical jazz" that launches this classic vibe into the new millennium with a touch hip-hop and a dash of soul. This group has managed to capitalize on the idea of cultural diversity in music by bringing together musicians from various walks of life to display their talents and produce a brand new vibe that can simultaneously tip a hat to the masters while still keeping the more than amply crowd interested
