Eudokeu the Ministry

On August 12, 2006 Kevin Stancil was called to start a ministry comprised of singers and musicians that would collectively come together to sing Gods praises. It was not long after the call that he began looking for individuals to partner with him to form this ministry. Of course with every endeavor in life there will be challenges which held up the process of moving forward with the vision. Kevin went back and asked God to show him which way to go to obtain partners that would follow the vision as he followed Christ…and with that he began to find partners in ministry that would go with him through this process of becoming the music ministry known in the beginning as FAVOR.

On October 22, 2006 the group had their first rehearsal. It was at Kevin’s home in Nashville, TN. Original material was written and taught and it came to life as soon as the group hit their first note. From there they began to rehearse constantly learning new material that came from Kevin's repertoire of songs. It was pretty clear to all of the members at this point that God was gearing them and setting them in place to become a ministry like never before.

In November of 2006, the group Favor was asked to sing at a small church in the Antioch, TN area. It was their first ministry opportunity and it gave them a glimpse of their charge in the music ministry. This successful first venture leads them to be invited to minister at the Victory Church in Nashville, TN by Bishop Kenneth Dupree for their New Years Eve celebration. After which the group became more in tuned with the mission to reach and touch individuals who are hurting from life’s trials, tribulations, and hardships. The call that was placed upon the ministry was a great one and Kevin realized that this was not going to be just another group or community choir, but a REAL God lead ministry that required honesty and dedication.

As Favor kept on the quest to be prepared for ministry they began to seek God about potentially releasing a CD project. It was then that Kevin heard from God again to move forward with the project so that others who they cannot reach at the moment would get a glimpse of the ministry’s' potential. In April of 2007, Favor was invited to minister in Louisville, KY which was a successful engagement…it was then that Kevin knew that the group should begin working on the CD. As the ministry began the recording process, Kevin decided that the name of the ministry was not strong enough to compliment the ministries power and anointing. Therefore he remembered a name that he had heard from a lesson in the greek language from Evangelist Anne Davis. She taught him that the word EUDOKEU means Favor in Greek. This name rung throughout Kevin’s mind so much so until it became a part of his vocabulary. It was then explained to the ministry that the name had to change. As a result, the ministry would now be known as Eudokeu the Ministry.

In August 2007 while working on the CD, Pastor Kelvin Levy of Judah Temple of Praise in Nashville TN, invited Kevin Stancil and Eudokeu the Ministry to Baltimore, MD to minister at the W.A.R. Convocation of almost 1700 people. This was a great as well as intimidating opportunity which Eudokeu took to task and succeeded with the favor of God. Upon their return home, the group continued to record the album that is now in the near completed stage entitled "Ultimate Sincerity". It is now clear that the members of EUDOKEU are set in place, the mission of the ministry is in effect and the call of the ministry is without question one that cannot be compromised.

And now the clarion call must be answered. To reach the lost, encouraged the found, strengthen the weak, support the strong, inherit the land, stand for unity and above all else strive for excellence.

Therefore, allow the ministry of EUDOKEU the ministry to give to you what God has given to them. LIFE.
