Biography

Eulogy is a unique rock band from New jersey/New York City dedicated to their intense live show and making the best music they can. Consisting of members Ted Agelis, 21, (lead guitar, backup vocals), Andy Illiano, 18, (drums), Sal Rametta, 20,(bass), Steve Schwartz, 22, (lead vocals, guitar), have been playing since 2003 and are signed to Type A records/Red/Sony Eulogy’s music has lured in fans of straight ahead hard rock, but who crave something a bit harder, darker and more unique. Check out the push/pull of “The Shit I Used to Adore”, whose heavy bass dominated verse riff dangles over you head before throwing you into a fast chorus full of aggressive vocals and heavy harmonic guitar squeals. Their fearless approach to rock music gives them permission to throw something unexpected in the mix to surprise the listener. Listen to the melancholy piano in “Rise Above”, adding a dark pinch that top’s the songs message off perfectly. Eulogy’s planning to tour this year with plans of recording a debut shortly after.

Falling Back

Written By: Schwartz

i sit at my desk, head in my hands
you dressed in bed, sigh shift and stand
walk to the door before i see
"don't leave you whore. please give me
just another chance at recycled romance give it one more chance and i'll change if i can
just another chance at recycled romance
"i'm here for you forever with my kind recycled smile"
we're falling back on yesterday
our happiness is here to stay
tomorrow smiles and turns away
we're falling back on yesterday
you go to the bar meet someone sweet
wake in his car, jeans at your feet
to sad to yell, stand on the street
take out your cell, "please give me"
just another chance at recycled romance give it one more chance and i'll change if i can
just another chance at recycled romance
"i'm here for you forever with my kind recycled smile"
we're falling back on yesterday
our happiness is here to stay
tomorrow smiles and turns away
we're falling back on yesterday
we won't change there's no need
this way we'll always stay young
make a choice: me or me
a win-win situation
we won't change, there's no need
this way we'll always stay young
me or me, me or me, me or me
we're falling back on yesterday
our happiness is here to stay
tomorrow smiles and turns away
we're falling back on yesterday

Better Than You

Written By: Schwartz

First it was bad, it was good
Then we melted into sleep
Didn't care, if the blood seeped
into bed sheets
because
Your daughter's growing up
And I know her better than you
So long, don't try to hold on
She doesn't need you, anymore
China wok, family talk
Grab her wrists
"Just admit you're smoking pot"
Show you care, always there
Outside her pad lock door but
Your daughter's growing up
And I love her better than you
So long, don't try to hold on
She doesn't need you, anymore
She instant messaged me:
"this is how it should be
I still love you as friend, this is how it should end"
Now i keep the times we had
In a zipped zip lock bag
Where our pictures smile along
They were wrong. I was wrong
So long, won't try to hold on
She doesn't need me anymore
Once it was good
Now it's gone but I'm still here

The Shit I Used to Adore

Written By: Schwartz

"Call whenever
said his mouth to my sneakers
necktie dad left our garage
one last time
"call whenever"
says your lip as you bite it
I'm still lost in the exhaust
of his beamer
pardon me for seeming cliche´ like a pop song
trying to remember when happy meals were free
pardon me for seeming cliche´ like a pop song
don't you blame yourself, ooo baby the fault is mine
goodbye
all i think is all i know
I'm better off the first to go
all i think is all i know
but can I hide when I'm alone?
"call whenever"
says the note on your dresser
I look just like my old man
you'll do better
pardon me for seeming cliche´ like a pop song
trying to remember when happy meals were free
pardon me for seeming cliche´ like a pop song
don't you blame yourself, ooo baby the fault is mine
goodbye
all i think is all i know
I'm better off the first to go
all i think is all i know
but can I hide when I'm alone?
I can see within you
the shit i used to adore
I can see within you
the shit i cannot ignore
all i think is all i know
I'm better off the first to go
all i think is all i know
but can I hide when I'm alone?
I can see within me
the shit I used to adore
I can see within me
the shit I can not ignore
