David Munoz: Host Of The Jazz Show KQXT
Europa, one of San Antonio's most vibrant bands, debuts with "ONE", a collection of songs that will take you on a smooth, exhilarating ride. Europa mesmerizes with a breath of fresh air on the jazz music scene. - KQXT's Sunday Morning Jazz Host David Munoz

"Reminiscent of the early RIPPINGTONS."

Sandy Shore / www.Smoothjazz.com
One of the best projects to hang in the Smoothjazz.com Listening Lofts in some time. It warms our hearts to hear this kind of quality song writing and production from an indie band and recording label. - Sandy Shore / Smoothjazz.com

"FUNKY JAZZ with a dash of Texas sizzle."

Bob Farrow: Program Director CIWV Wave 94.7
4 talented guys with a wealth of musical experience offering a delicious mix of smooth, cool, funky jazz with a dash of Texas sizzle. EUROPA is one of North America's newest and most versitile ensembles. We love them here at Canada's first smooth jazz radio station and labelled "Durango Drive" as one of our Prime Cuts. - CIWV The Wave 94.7's Bob Farrow

Bio

EURÓPA is a 6 piece Contemporary/Smooth Jazz and R&B group with a Latin flavor
from San Antonio, Texas. At the start of 2000, EURÓPA was formed by group
founder, keyboardist and music director Alexander Ambrozaitis. Alex together with
bass player James Pickens, lead alto saxophonist Virdrick Pettit and drummer
Michael Alexander recorded EURÓPA’s first CD titled “ONE” in 2002. EURÓPA had
gone through a few musician changes and additions. The first addition to the group
was AJ Ambrozaitis on tenor/alto sax, keyboards, percussion and vocals in 2002.
Another addition included vocalist RG Dean. In 2003 Anselmo Leal became the lead
alto/soprano sax and percussionist replacing Virdrick Pettit. In 2008, Nate Crawford
replaced drummer Michael Alexander, and sax player extordainer Onel Jimenez
replaced Anselmo Leal. In 2005 EURÓPA was given the “Party Jazz” label by a jazz
festival promoter Robert Jackson from Louisiana, giving a name to the sounds and
style of EURÓPA.

Throughout the years EURÓPA has toured in Texas, North America and Europe.
EURÓPA has opened for and or shared the stage with such artist as Warren Hill,
Chris Botti, Eddie Baccus, Pieces of a Dream, Kyle Turner, Strunz & Farrah,
