Feeling a bit camera shy

In summer 2004, guitarist Jason Oulette, drummer Byron Hayes, and bassist Larry Periman began a musical project with the intentions of annihilating the existence of music as it is known today. In search of a vocalist, Hayes called an old friend, Devin Castle, who had recently returned to Arkansas from Orlando, Fl. Castle was looking for musicians to play songs that he had written while away, and decided that they were whom he was searching for. After a couple of months of rehearsal the decision was made to bring in another guitarist. Chad Hart, who was playing with Devin in a band called Temper Effect, decided to join. Soon after, the band started playing shows. Eva Braun was born and has been uncovering an ever-growing fan base throughout Arkansas and the mid-south.

When asked for just two words that could define Eva Braun's music, vocalist Devin Castle chose to use "Dark Sarcasm". He justified that by finishing with "our songs make fun of things that people don't like to talk about." Those words sum up the concept behind the lyrics as well as the name. The music, meanwhile, is driven by a schizophrenic array of riffs nailed down by a percussive assault and backed by driving, bottom feeding bass.

Eva Braun is now extending its fan base outside of Arkansas. With the support of Level One Management and Queenzilla Music Group, they will succeed in taking their music to the masses.
